Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Decide Now

After spending 15 minutes opening the box, reading instructions, and assembling, I went out onto the deck with its 6" of snow and squeezed the handle. One puff of snow flew out and the auger stopped turning almost immediately. Took the Toro back into the house and took off the end plate. The large belt had popped off. Put the belt back on and, before putting the end plate back on, tried to run it "dry" inside. The belt flew off instantly. Tried reseating the belt and turning it by hand, the belt would ride off the bottom of the large white pulley before a single revolution of the large pulley.

There is a 3/16" height difference between the drive pulley and the driven pulley for the auger (large white pulley). This will cause the belt to ride off in no time at all. Researching the problem online, it seems that Toro refuses to acknowledge a manufacturing defect in a run of their product, choosing to blame the belt tensioner. Taking it to a Toro dealer will apparently result in a 2+ week delay while a new unit is drop shipped from the manufacturer, they do not service the electric models. Will the replacement work, or will it not work? Your gamble...

To fix the belt issue, measure the height differential between the driven white pulley and its drive pulley, remove the bolt that holds that drive pulley and shim up to the correct height with washers (place under the black washer already there).

Once Toro's poor workmanship was fixed with about 20 cents in washers, this snowblower made short work of 6" of snow. It also worked quite well in 12" drifts, blowing the heavier snow about 6 feet vertically and 12-15 feet straight ahead.

I'm happy that I got it working and happy with how well it works. I'm unhappy with having to correct such an obvious defect in order to get a working unit.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Order Now

This is my fifth winter season using the Toro 1800. It has held up against pretty much everything short of the 2 foot tall wall of snow/ice thrown up by the plows this year. it can dig through dry snow taller than it is, and deep wet stuff without much problem (just don't expect to throw the wet stuff into your neighbor's yard). I definitely don't recommend doing this, but the Toro's survived being repeatedly slammed against giant drifts to break them up into blowable portions. I lost a metal skid plate doing that 2 years ago.

My only complaints would be:
1. The flimsy connection for the extension cord; although I haven't had to modify any cords to get them to fit, as another reviewer mentioned. A dedicated extension cord (for the winter at least) and a zip tie fix that issue.
2. The fact that the chute won't stay angled to the side and down pushing moderate to heavy stuff.
3. My hands get tired keeping that big red switch pushed in.
4. I'd be warmer if I was using a shovel?

Do I get jealous watching my neighbor with his monster 2-stage with headlights, or this year his snow throwing riding mower attachment? Sure, but do I have to worry about maintenance or the price I paid? Not at all.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Buy Now

I've owned a Toro 1800 for several years...Which is why I'm shopping around for a bigger and more powerful snow blower

The electric Toro 1800 does a very good job for removing light snow over small distances. I live in New England, and have used it to clear my driveway for up to 10 inches of snowfall.

BUT, the Toro 1800 does NOT work well under heavy "wet snow" conditions. It also does not work well if the snow is allowed to freeze over time and become hard. Even under light snow conditions, it takes a LONG TIME to clear the "average" sized driveway.

The Toro 1800 IS a good machine. But unless you have all day to clear away light snow, the Toro 1800 is really only for small jobs. Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Tire snow chains - Preparing For Winter

If you live in an area where the road is covered with snow for most of the year, you may need to have snow chains on your vehicle are. What are they? You are special tires that can increase traction, as I travel.

In many states they are illegal because they can cause damage to roads. But in other states, are required for a safe commute. For this reason, it is necessary to acquire knowledge as possible about them so you canis fully aware of personnel involved in the installation and with them.

What kind of car do you have?

So what's the first thing you should know about snow chains in winter? In essence, you should be aware that their position depends on the specific vehicle type you have. These are available for: front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive and four wheel drive. If you have a front-wheel drive, the snow must be put snow chains on the two front wheels. To the rearWheel drive, snow chains, snow tires on the back end of the vehicle are placed. Finally, four-wheel drive two pairs of snow chains on all the front wheels and rear.

Checkpoints

What does a person do if your vehicle is not on the right front wheel, rear wheel or tires? If you are in a state with snow chains required for life, can be professionally fitted for specific checkpoints. Indeed, asget their cars tested, but to use it lawful to make such a service. But since there are usually at the checkpoint station, should not be too uncomfortable. However, it should be noted that the driver has a cost for the service turnover.

Only install

For all other snow snow chains installation should not be too difficult. For instructions to install the chains should sell out of the store are available. If there are,Motorists can always search for ideas on the internet the easiest way to install it. In general, the method includes the manipulation of lever locks, while the chain of draping on the tires. Some sites offer free installation instructions for providing images to further aid in the process.

Of course, if you find that you still have problems during installation, you can try to make it to a mechanic to see if the station was the checkpoint, you can qualify for their installationService.

Speed Limit

If snow snow chains fitted to expect, that your driving experience to be different. Yes, you will realize that you have incredible traction but in the end you will be too limited when it comes to speed. In fact, do not expect to go 60 mph, if you have them. They will instead go to about 30 mph (what for many areas, the actual speed limit for vehicles with tire chains in winter).

In addition, must still be careful in areas where there are rocks, roots and other hidden obstacles. If they hit hard enough, you can damage the snow chains. This is one more reason why you need is to drive slowly, especially when traveling to areas where the road is underdeveloped.

I just got my 1800 assembled and found no ground pin [green wire] at the 1800 power receptacle. There are only two blades [hot, black wire & neutral, white wire] but no green wire safety ground connection. For a product with exposed metalic surfaces intended to be used in snow [and where there is snow there is water] I find really unacceptable. How much more could it have cost to put in a proper 3 prong male power receptacle?

There is confusion for many about the differance between the white wire [neutral] and the green wire [safety ground]. The neutral carries all the product return current while the green wire only carries current if there is a fault as it just sits there waiting to save your life. The most serious fault is an internal short of hot wire [black] to product chassis. this can easily be lethal. The green wire would carry this connection to ground and pop the source breaker. Without a green wire connection this important protection is missing. These days there is almost no product made with only a two wire connection. Except of course the Toro 1800. Being an electronics engineer I am truly shocked [no pun intended] about this. It may not even be legal.

I plan to keep the 1800 but something tells me I should return it as an unsafe product.

As an aside.. All outdoor extension cords have a three wire plug. Most won't fit into the two prong male receptacle on the 1800 unless you modify the female end fitting on the power cord which creates yet more safety issues.

I was surprised how well this little unit threw snow. What was normally a 90 minute task to shovel my driveway, is now a quick 15 minute job with this unit. A few notes to be aware of. First, heavy thick snow up to the height of the intake is for the most part thrown just fine. You may have to put your back into it to push it at times. Second, frozen piles of icy snow from the blow built up at the end of your driveway can be a bit tricky. I have taken an ice chipper after this to break it up before attacking it with this snow thrower.

The advantages of this unit is that it is small, light, and works. I can move it into the attic of my garage during the summer so it doesn't take up a large footprint of my garage when I'm not using it. No stabilizing it, mixing gas, and expensive maintenance. Biggest cons are expensive extension cords, avoiding the cord when throwing snow, and less acceptable during very heavy snow loads.

Yes, it does work, and it works well. Toro has a great warranty. I may be a bit more work with snow over a foot. If you often get more snow that a foot, you may want to look at a nice 2 stage gas snow blower.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Immediately

I read all the reviews on this product at multiple websites, good and bad, before purchasing - my biggest concern being that there were some complaints of belt problems right out of the box. I simply hoped that the odds would be in my favor, but they weren't, even though I had ordered a spare belt from Toro and two 12-guage electrical cords (a spare in case I run over one) after seeing the reviews.

Unfortunately, although easy to assemble, as soon as it was plugged in and turned on, the rotor did not spin. I turned it on in the garage ahead of the snow (about 4" of light snow) and it just pushed it with no blower. Sure enough, the belt was tangled up. As soon as it was turned on, the belt slipped off, repeatedly. It did work for one pass in the snow - beautifully, then the belt slipped again. I replaced it with the new belt, thinking that maybe it had been shipped with a loose or slipped belt, but that didn't help either. After about 6-8 times the belt slipped off, I gave up and called and Toro.

When I informed Toro of the reviews and problem, they said it needed to be returned to the seller, as they didn't think it was something that could be helped by sending it to an authorized dealer (100 miles from home).

I'm debating on whether to order a new one when the return goes through. If the other reviews are correct, then maybe I'll get lucky and receive one that works. It truly is an ideal machine - light and easy to operate. I grew up with an electric lawnmower so the cord didn't intimidate me and frankly I don't see how that blower could cut a 12-guage cord (I had an extra one on hand just in case). For the one pass that it worked, it worked beautifully.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Small Engine Maintenance - Float Style Carburetor

Float style carburetors are common on small gas powered engines for outdoor equipment, including lawn and garden tractors. Many times when the engine is running rough or bad hunting (engine speed is not constant), it is because the carb needs a good cleaning and service.

Preparation

Snow Throwers

Write to obtain the type of engine and then the serial number of the relevant carburetor kit, engine gaskets and filters. Prepare a clean working environment, an area of smoke and NAKEDFLAME (gasoline vapors ignite very easily). Basic tools are required, the key (or taken to be permanent), pliers, can clean the carburetor to clean parts in a container and a container for storing parts. Together

Small Engine Maintenance - Float Style Carburetor

Carburetor Removal

Take a photo or a sketch with a pencil attached to the throttle connection, linkage and springs on the carburetor. This saves a lot of anxiety when you get back together. Turn off fuel to the carburetor, before the fuelLine to the carburetor. Some have a fuel shut-off, but the fuel hose clamp with a screw or drain into a clean container.

Remove the air cleaner, carburetor mounting nuts (screws) and the spring governor. Facilitate the carburetor from the engine is turned off, as one attempts to solve the Z-form connections with the throttle and choke valves. Note that there is still fuel in the pan at the base of the carburetor. Carburetor tip upside down to let the fuel drain valvein a container.

Disassembling the carburetor

Now you complete the carburetor into the air before trying to take it apart, the two screws (some have only one) search soft under the head of the bolt. This will be the screw-speed and high vacuum. Count the number of revolutions needed to go home and screw the needle, about a year and a half and the main jet and 1 time for the pilot project. Note that this will be the setting forbe used later.

Remove the high speed and idle adjustment screw, clean and ready for installation in a container. Remove the nut bowl, nut this little 'carbohydrate is where high-speed adjustment screw is located. To clean or replace the nut and washer, if necessary. Those high-speed needle is home to one or two small holes in the transfer of fuel. These get clogged - clean with a fine wire (made from a thin wire floral arrange an artisan). TheFloat next, pay attention to the aspiration needle of the fuel and as an attachment to the float hinge. Some of the brass float loose after a while 'float waving to me, when the fuel is sloshing over and replace, if so swimmers.

Use carburetor cleaner and spray out, then inside the carburetor, the air vents and needle. WATCH YOUR EYES - glasses to use. Make sure the throttle and flaps to move freely and that the gas and choke return springs close theValves.

If you are weak or broken, replace it by unscrewing and removing the pin the throttle, then reassemble with new springs. Inside the Venturi at the end of the throttle, there are 2 or 3 small holes (you need to move the valve in the open position, move them to see). I use a bow with one leg straightened and cleaned with a pliers from the ports. VIOLENCE IF YOU DO NOT BOW is larger in diameter than the diameter port.

Reassemble

InsertFuel float and needle. Place the bowl with the carburetor with a new O-rings. Screw the high speed needle and idle (not to mention the springs, 'O' ring and washer) until your seat, then back the screws to the speed you saw in the demo days. These settings should not start the engine, otherwise, replace two needles until it just fits. Unscrew the screw at least one shift and the high speeds of 1 and 1 / 2 laps. August EndThe adjustment takes place when the engine test run.

Connection with the design or take pictures, put the governor and choke, then with a new gasket to adjust the carburetor of the motor housing. Connect the regulator spring in the hole on the gas-Cam, usually the same hole as the link governor. Reconnect the fuel line and filter cover (with new gasket) to the body of the carburetor. Worn or dirty air filter

Adaptation

Start the engineand let it warm up to normal operating temperature (3-5 minutes). The maximum speed throttle position, then turn the mixture control at high speed (clockwise) slowly until the engine runs irregularly. Note that the position of the screw. Now back out the screw (clockwise) until the engine starts running again, unpredictably. Note that the position of the screw, then screw back in its central position, smoothly and at that point the engine.

Set the throttleto sleep or slow position and adjust the idle mixture in the same way as you use high speed mixing under control. Some time after setting the idle speed screw, you need to go back and adjust the setting at high speed.

Disclaimer - This article is intended as a guide only and is generic, and therefore can not accept responsibility for any injury or damage. There are many types of carburetors used in small engines, each with its own means of controlling the air / fuel mixture in the engine. But the above is typical of many small engine carburetor, which I maintained and repaired over the years I used an external power equipment sales and service ownership.

What equipment do you need a 3 Acre Homestead Care

There are some pieces of equipment you really need to own to keep the property in good condition. There are of course many "toys", which is nice, but the cost of purchase and maintenance is far greater than just rent one or two times a year. Depending on the amount of land in grass for the sake of beauty alone, as pasture or meadow, or maybe even pens for sheep, chickens or dictate, is what equipment you really need. All objects must have some kind of lawn or garden tractor, if you're a marathon runner and want a mower over a hectare or two times a week to move in the spring. A general purpose tractor with 20 hp or less motor and a 42 or 48 inch mower can handle easily to three acres of lawns. Make attached as a spring lawn aeration or just rake a plow snow for the winter so you can work more easily. Rollers for lawn, planters, discs, harrows, rakes power and even miniature font-endBuckets can be of different sub-compact tractor and tractor are acquired companies.

Here you will find when you shop, tractors fall into different categories according to their capabilities. Lawn tractors are generally large, you can order a small trailer, pulling a rake leaves or maybe push a little 'of snow. A tractor is heavier and stronger, larger components. A tractor may be a slightly larger engine, cast iron tail, and perhapsable, a snow plow as a plant well under control. A compact tractor for about $ 12,000 or so, is even more difficult to balance the weights or weighted tires, front loader and backhoe attachments, and 5 acres to cut easier. The frames are also much more serious and mountains of snow to move with ease. If you own a stables or plant a big garden, a sub-compact tractor to handle all these tasks of cleaning, no sweat.

Snow Throwers

One day a long trailer is also aGod sends you to clean the leaves, moving dirt, gravel or implementation of another routine job site. It 's much easier to load your trailer all the spring flowers and plants ranging from bed to bed with your trowel and soil supplements to take everything by hand. Bucket of water in motion to receive pins or moving bricks or wood are all activities that are managed by a small trailer. My trailer is now more than twenty years and in addition to some occasional pencil and grease paint is still strong.

What equipment do you need a 3 Acre Homestead Care

A gasLeaf blowers and vacuums are also a real time saving device. Blowing walkways and yards clean, remove leaves from flower beds, a gas leaf blower does the trick. If you have marked some kind of bushes or trees, making an electric trimmer hedge, the chore a breeze as well. Hand cut hundreds of meters of coverage is not a joke. A wheelbarrow is a good tool often overlooked. Do not buy a $ 29 burial mounds of the tomb. If you order $ 100 or pay, then you're in the right environment. Oak handlesHeavy metal pole or a bathroom (I prefer the Poly, will not rust) and a ten-inch tires is minimal. Mine is now about 12 years and I replaced the handles once.

I have a fairly large wooded area and lawns are also a lot of trees. This only generate tons of fallen branches and leaves per year. I purchased a small shredder for 3 "and smaller limbs and does a good job. Anything larger than 3" is cut for firewood. This machine is great for us as mulchwas worth the price.

Roto-tillage my garden once a year, does not seem to justify the purchase of a rototiller, which sat for 11 months and a half years. The daily rate is approximately $ 45 to $ 45 so that through our nursery and shop locations to keep it all year.

A pressure washer is another great tool for the average company. Cleaning sidewalks or decks, paneling and floors in the house barn are all made much easier with a pressure washer. They are relatively cheap and have a great job.Maintenance is pretty sure that drained before freezing under proper storage and control of the engine oil.

If you have these tools, you can still get pretty much over. With the passage of time and you can afford it, can also tasks easier and faster. Adding some additional equipment for the tractor as a front blade or auger

Ask your vendor how much you need a car, and will be happy to help you decide. You want to return a satisfied customer, and recommendfor others.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Review

If your going by looks, this snow thrower is much more powerful than you might think. This lightweight snow thrower does a great job on shorter driveways and sidewalk. It's probably not a good idea to use this thrower to clear the end of your driveway. Chunks of ice have a good shot of damaging the fiberglass auger. Deep snow >18 inches would be too much for this little guy. Storage is probably my favorite feature. It's so light, I can hand it from hook on the side of my garage wall. Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Top Quality

Since this product has been thoroughly reviewed I will only add two points. First, for the price this product can't compare to anything else on the market. Second, and this is my only criticism, the deflector on the top of the snow thrower is made of plastic and is secured by two metal bolts. I have tightened the bolts several times, but the deflector keeps shifting upwards when I am throwing a lot of snow. I constantly have to push it back down to keep the flow of snow going in the right direction. Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

This marks the 9th winter I've had this snow thrower. In that time, my total expenses and maintenance costs have been the cost of the extension cord, the cost of the thrower itself, and the electricity to power it. That's it. No gas, no oil, no plugs, no worries.

I live in MN, and we get a fair amount of snow. This thrower is perfect for the relatively small driveway and walkways around my house. Will it get bogged down with super-wet snow or ice, like a plow berm at the end of the driveway? Yes. But that's not what this machine is designed to handle. And even so, if you go slowly and carefully, this thrower will eat its way through all but the slushiest mess.

I love the fact that my YOY expenses are almost nothing and that I can carry this thrower with one hand. I've puzzled over this machine with 90% loving it and 10% hating it. I think I know why. I trusted the high reviews and bought it this year. The first snowfall (5-6" of moderately wet snow) I rolled this unit out and in 30 minutes of use, the large belt slipped off the pulley. I dragged it inside and put it back on. Outside again and this time it slipped off in ten minutes. Two more tries and then the plastic rotor started bashing the housing. I called Toro and if you select Option "5" you actually talk to a human. They said if I printed out my Amazon purchase record, they would treat that as a receipt. I asked instead that they send me a new belt as mine had begun to look pretty sad. Although they said the belt was an unwarranted "wear part", they would send me a new one at their expense. When I installed the new belt, I realized the rotor axle was loose. It cannot be tightened without a 5/16" Allen wrench (who owns that?). I bought one, tightened the axle (not easily) and reinstalled the new belt. The other day I faced 3-4" of new snow (very slightly wet) on my 7000 square foot parking area. The Toro 1800 worked beautifully for the 2 1/2 hour job. My conclusion from all of this is that 5-10% of all the Toro 1800's leave the factory with a slightly loose axle. Once the belt is out of the flat plane, it will always slip. Get that Allen wrench. It really ought to be shipped with the unit. I think most owners will ultimately need it. The only reason to ship your 1800 back to the factory is if you burn out the motor or have an electrical failure. The belts, rotor, and axle should be handled at home.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Order Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

I've had this snow blower for over a year, and with the exception of a really WET snow storm, it has worked flawlessly. The wet storm was too much for it, but it also bogged down the neighbor's gas unit too.

Anyway, rather than repeating what all the other reviewers have said, I will just offer a simple tip for dealing with the cord:

With a gas blower, people tend to clear a 30 foot long path (for example) all the way down the length of the driveway, turn, clear another 30 feet back, and repeat until done. With the electric Toro, I find it much easier to make several short arm-length paths (push in one direction, and pull the unit back to you) until a section is cleared so the cord is not dragged much, and repeat until done. The Toro is light enough that it's a piece of cake to handle this way. Think of it as if you were operating a vacuum, rather than a snow blower! It's simple, effective, and extremely fast. :-)

Here's a visual aid to make my point.

Where To Buy Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

I have three properties to clear in South Minneapolis so I needed a blower that I could toss in the van and transport to each location. I highly recommend it! It clears snow as well as the old 3.5 hp two-stage I owned a years ago. Clearly this machine will not clear a 3-foot snow pile pushed up by a snow plow. However, it DOES a great job of wet heavy snow. I was trowing this soggy stuff at least 20 feet. The construction is sound and time will tell if it will hold up. I received my new Toro electric snow blower is just a few days after I ordered it. Assembly wasn't too bad. Afterward, I just had to wait for some snow. Well, this past weekend we got about 8 inches of nice powdery snow. I did my driveway and sidewalk twice during the storm. The Toro worked great. It threw the snow about 20 feet away from the work area and cleared a clean path. The Toro even handled the heavier snow at the end of the driveway created by the road snowplow. I am very pleased with the Toro's performance at least for this first snowfall.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Buy Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

I have had my current unit for 12 years and it still works great. It is terrific not to have to deal with the maintenance issues of a gas unit. Where I used to live in Northern NJ, my drive was between two houses and 110' long so a lot of the snow had to be moved twice. Now I live in Massachusetts and have a gravel drive. I do have a few tips for new users.

1. MOST IMPORTANT, if you need a 100' cord (and you probably do) make sure it is 12 gauge wire. I burned the motor out of the first one I owned by using a 150' 14 gauge extension cord. If you burn out the motor you might as well buy a new unit because the motor itself is about $260.

2. It can be difficult to get thru snow higher than about 10". When you are in deep or wet snow, don't take a full width bite.

3. On the street plowed pile at the end of your drive, break it up with a shovel. If it has re-frozen the unit will just sort of walk up it. The rotor is a tough plastic but it can't break up big icy chunks.

4. If you have to blow the snow twice to get it out of the way, clear the area you are going to send it to first (especially with a heavy snow fall) So it is not dealing all of the snow at once.

5. If you have a gravel drive, and are careful it doesn't pick up much but don't blow snow against your house unless you like the dimpled look and broken windows.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Cheapest Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

Electric, and light weight. It did the job on ~14" of snow. I did take one star away due to the electric cord, but I preferred electric over gas due to the maintenance overhead of gas, and how many times I actually use it over the year. It did sit in my garage for about 4 years before I broke it out.

It does take about 15-20 minutes to assemble. I expected it to be a little simpler, but not bad.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Old School Three workouts around your body Will

More and more people recognize that certain types of fitness routines for more effective whole body in shape than the typical static formation that we have seen for a while '.

If you remember me the movie Rocky IV when Rocky is training for his fight against the Russian powerhouse, Rocky's training regime was crude in comparison to the Russians. You should see Rocky in the snow train carrying a log or running up a mountain, while the Russian trains in a state of the artGym. Rocky would chop wood or to hang from a beam of abdominal training. So what happened? Rocky plays the Russian for his old school training.

Snow Throwers

You can perform many of the old school type of training in your life. In a previous article I discussed the lot and some others. In this article I will bring in wood chopping and training stick and a few other types of training, you can use.

Old School Three workouts around your body Will

Chopping wood with a sledgehammer, and both are similar. They areGive you a great basic training as well as your shoulders, back, arms and legs. In this formation with a hammer. You can get one at any hardware store and an old tire. If you've never chopped wood swinging a bat or go slow. You can bat in various weight classes available. Start with a lighter until you get used to swing.

The goal is to hit the tire with a hammer. The starting position is important. Depending on whether you are legal orHold the left-hander will be different. E 'in the same way, if you have a baseball bat, the bat is held in a different way in his right hand against the left because you're hitting the side of the field is selected. Well, if the handle of the hammer closer with one hand on the bottom and the other on the head begins to negotiate. When you start the swing, lift the stick above the shoulder (left or right) with his head just behind the shoulder. The handle is still in the sameData at this time.

As you swing down on the hand is closer to the slide upside down across the descent. Both hands are close to the right is its pre-strike together. This will be the first representative. Repeat for more repetitions. You can control the speed, if you have more control of swing and be hit.

The next year that are great for the whole body is running the register. This exercise will work your legs as a primary area. The shoulders, arms, back,Chest, abdomen and will be used as sub-sectors. This is quite easy to do. Find an old log, so you can carry on your shoulders. From this should be done, Long is running, and regular walks. The lunge is the legs and hips, as the tracks are the taxes. You can also change from year to year to make it a challenge. The goal is to get your heart rate.

If you can not find a record, you can replace it with a garment bag with sand and a bar (for resistance) filled. In addition to the sink, walk and run - you can do knee bends.

The final exercise requires you to have a car tire. I would recommend to have different sizes for them. In fact, if you can get a large tractor tire, that would be great. Let's start with the smaller tires. These are for the launch exercises are used. It requires the whole body, dynamic way of training. This is one of the reasons why you want the smallest tire you can begin your search. There are twoBasic poses you do. The first is the flip over his head. How to do this is to grab the tire with both hands and with a rocking motion, pull over the head behind.

You can use your legs to help in swing movements and developing power for the shot. It is possible without the tire on the first workout. Focus on technique and then move to the tires. Well, even a bicycle will help.

The next shot is like throwing a disc. Youwith both hands to this (if you're strong enough to have to use one hand). Grasp the tire with both hands on the inner edge. Start swinging from side to side until you gain momentum. Since the increase of dynamic range, the rotation of the body in a circle (like a discus thrower would again) and let the tires - has thrown in the air. This works the whole body and especially your stomach area.

You will be able to get a tractor tire, use it for lifting andTilt it forward. It will be difficult to be sure to use an elevator good shape to pick it up as dead. As you lift it to where it goes where it can then be turned over and over again.

Have fun and experiment. Like the ancient warriors, build your body to function. Hold training for health.

I have been looking for a snowblower/thrower for over a year, and decided upon an electric one as I would prefer not having to deal with gas motors. After reading various review sites and watching Youtube videos of this Toro 1800, I purchased it 2 weeks ago. Delivery was quick, I had it at my front door within 3 days (and this was using Amazon's 5-9 business day free shipping option), so kudos for that right off the bat. Plus, we were forecast to receive nearly a foot of snow the following weekend, this was the recent paralyzing storm that struck much of the northeast on December 19-20, 2009.

So immediately, the Toro 1800 was put to the test in 12" light fluffy snowfall. And it worked brilliantly! Plugged it in and started clearing off my 4-car driveway in about one-quarter the time it took two adults with shovels in the past. It was even able to scoop/throw the partially melted inch of slush underneath. Had to stop and loosen out the slush that had accumulated in the chute, but once it was cleared the machine was working fine again.

One minor issue I did have with the Toro 1800 is the extension cord constantly getting in the way, so unlike the gas-powered blowers, you'll need to keep stopping and making sure the cord is out of the way. For instance, you'll walk this Toro down the driveway, clearing away a good width, right down to the pavement. Rather than turning around, you need to walk backwards to retrace your steps over the cleared path. What's in your way but the extension cord! So if you want to get the snowthrowing done quickly, have a second person by the side who is able to hold the cord and keep it untangled.

To summarize, 12" of fluffy snow, 4-car driveway was cleared off in about 20 minutes. My back thanks Toro! I would recommend.

Low Price Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

We used the 12 amp Toro 1800 this weekend with two snowfalls. No gas to worry about mixing. No smoke or fumes. I plugged it in and off I went on my paved driveway. It's designed for paved surfaces. It is very light so I directed it with one hand and kept track of the cord with the other. It plowed through 5 inches of snow with ease. Turning the chute to direct where the snow should be blown is a feather touch. My wife thought we should have kept our old gas unit but after seeing this one do its job she's convinced this is a very good product. Benefits: no gas to store; plug in and go; lightweight; noise is less than with gas unit; easy to learn how to start from a point nearest the plug and then outward. Feels like toy but works like a serious machine. Cons: assembly requires a little patience and strong hands. I have arthritis but I got it completed in an hour. PS: the box is intelligently designed so the unit rolls out on its wheels. No lifting is required to get it out of the shipping carton. That was smart.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

I bought this snow thrower a few years ago but had it stored in my shed because the teenage boy across the street would always shovel my driveway. This past weekend we got 24" of snow in Southern NJ and no teenage boy available. My daughter and I were able to put the Toro together in about 1/2 hour and were AMAZED at how well it worked - even in very deep snow. Two neighbors borrowed it after I was done and they loved it. The snow was soft and powdery so don't know how well it will work with wet, slushy snow but it definitely was a life safer for this past weekend. Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Order Now

I purchased this product nearly a year ago and it immediately broke. I stored it in the basement after only having used it a couple of times and didn't give it a second thought. Today, 12/20/2009, we received nearly 2 feet of snow in the New England area (south of Boston). After reading some forums about the snow blower, I realized a common problem was the belt falling off the unit. The recommendation was to put on a bigger washer to tighten the belt and you're good to go.

As an individual who is not even remotely "handy," I was a bit suspect as to whether or not I'd be able to make this modification. However, as it turns out, all you really need to do is unscrew a couple screws, slide off a panel, and the belt is right there facing you. It took me about 10 minutes total and the snow blower was good to go. Other than this obvious flaw, this little snow blower is great. The trick to getting through a lot of snow is to do basically plow under the big mound so there is snow hanging over and then knocking that down with a shovel. Repeat this process and you'll take care of the entire driveway. Sure, it might be a bit frustrating to make multiple passes, but if you're like me and prefer an electronic snow blower over the large, noisy, extremely heavy, gas-guzzling behemoths you see out there, this is a great buy.

PROS:
* All the benefits of electric (quiet, instant turn on, no gas/oil mixtures, no starting hassles, no stalling, etc.)
* Very light-weight, love being able to carry this around in my trunk/with one hand, etc.

CONS:
* (annoying) The belt falls off and needs to be reattached (5 minute job even if you know nothing about this stuff, like me)
* (very minor) Sometimes, the shoot gets clogged and you need to just push the snow back through it. Not that big of a deal, really.

I guess this would be a CON as well, but it's expected. You wouldn't buy meat and be upset it's not vegetarian, right?
* All the negatives of electric (not as powerful, multiple passes for deeper snow, not too effective in wet/heavy snow)

I'd recommend it overall. There is no point in purchasing a $1,000+ snow blower that is heavy, requires annoying mixtures, requires regular maintenance, etc., unless you have an abnormally large driveway, enjoy polluting the Earth, or live in an area where it snows daily, like the North Pole. For those of us who might get (at most) 4-5 decent sized storms a year, it's a great product. If it can survive a New England snow storm, chances are it'll work in your neck of the woods too. Good luck.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Living in Northern VA, the winters can be mild which amount to no snow or like yesterday, we get the Blizzard of 2009 with over 20" of snow in less than 24 hours. Having owned a 2 Stage Snow Thrower for several years now, it was just over kill. Each year having to haul it out, get the gas ready...what a mess!

So I decided last week to simplify things. I started looking at 1 Stage Snow Throwers, both electric and gas. Have always heard great things about Toro so I started reading the online reviews. Every where I looked, Consumer Guide, Consumer Reports, etc. they all said the same thing...you cannot go wrong with Toro.

I narrowed it down to the electric Toro 1800 and the gas Power Clear 180. Went to a local store to take a look at them and the first thing I thought was this electric Toro 1800 was a joke. Granted I don't get big snowstorms in my area, but I thought this thing couldn't handle more than a dusting. So I focused in on the Power Clear 180. It has the Toro name behind it, the strong recommendation, and I nearly started to take it to the register. However, I had a second thought and wondered if once again for my needs, is this really more than what I needed, not to mention the mess of using gasoline and the general maintenance required.

Took another look at the Toro 1800 and talked to the sales rep. He mentioned he had worked there for years and only once did he recall ever having a Toro 1800 returned; then that got me thinking. What did I have to lose, if it did not meet my expectations, just return it. So I picked up the Toro 1800, couldn't believe how light it was and headed to the register. Also picked up a 12 gauge contractor 50 ft extension cord.

Woke up yesterday morning and already had 8 inches on the ground. I thought either I was going to be done in 30 minutes or be breaking out the old snow shovel in 2 minutes and taking this thing back next week. Sprayed the chute and blade with WD40 to prevent any sticking of the snow. Plugged in the extension cord and started using it with a back and forth vacuum style motion. Started just a foot outside my garage and worked my way out. This thing was amazing! Unlike my 2 Stage Snow Thrower, it was easy to move it back and forth. One thing I never liked about my 2 Stage Snow Thrower was how heavy it was and hard to turn.

With in a couple of minutes, total forgot it was an electric snow thrower. The motor was amazing! Not once did it have a problem with the snow and extension cord was nearly forgotten as I had wrapped it around the handle. I manage to finish in about 15 minutes. One thing I found interesting just as I was pulling the snow thrower back in the garage...I looked over at my neighbor who has actually started shoveling well before I came outside and has a driveway half the distance, but was still hard at work. So I took my little Toro over and within a few minutes we had her driveway cleared out too.

Just came in from outside to clear out the additional snow we got last night and all done. Another thing I love about the Toro 1800 is it scrapes all the way to the pavement; doesn't leave that slush layer like my old 2 Stage Snow Thrower. Always had to go back over it with a shovel and took so much time; what a mess!

Two stage snow throwers...been there, seen it and done it! Never going back to owning one unless I move far North. For me, I look forward to the next snowstorm as I know I have my handy dandy Toro 1800 ready and waiting. Light weight and easy to store with no maintenance, what else could you ask for?

Anyone looking for a snow thrower, I HIGHLY recommend the Toro 1800. For me, I wouldn't use any other snow thrower.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Best Quality

We have been waiting for snow to try out this little snow thrower. It has tackled the big 18 inch Nor'easter storm today, Dec. 19. We did take it about 3-4 inches at a time, making multiple passes throughout the day as the snow fell. It throws the snow about twenty feet, has sufficient power to plow through drifts, and cleans pretty close to the surface, not leaving too much of a snow film behind. It is easy to push, about the same as a shopping cart. We went for the electric model; since we get only a few snows per year, usually less than three inches each, and don't want to have to maintain a gasoline engine. We have had good experience with Toro products in the past.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Immediately

I too just got finished using the Toro to clear my driveway and sidewalk. The blizzard of 2009 in the D.C. area is still going and has easily exceeded 1 foot of snow so far. Using the Toro definitely made it faster to clear the snow, and saved my back!

Of note: the large belt had slipped off when I first tried to use the Toro today, but it was an easy fix after reviewing the manual. (I bought my Toro in February 2007. Today was the real test, since snowfall in prior years maxed out around 4-5 inches.) No problems after using the Toro for over 2 hours. The Toro actually makes it "fun" to clear the snow.

My only complaint so far is the chute moves around too easily. My "solution" was to have the chute face in one direction and apply Gorilla tape to keep it in place.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.
