**update**
i read some of the negitive reviews..if you expect this little snow thrower to replace a 18hp gas thrower
your CRAZY..DONT EXPECT TO CLEAR A 150FT DRIVEWAY WITH 2 FT OF SNOW!!..but for sidewalks, decks and smaller driveways its PERFECT!!!!

i read all the reviews, and new it was rated 5 stars...but i didnt expect too much as it was a small electric unit...well we finally got some snow{ice}and i took it outside and instantly got laughs from my neighbors with big 4 stroke snow blowers.. i was VERY surprised when i turned it on.. and BLASTED my neighbor, about 30 feet away!!i couldnt shut it off fast enough, he was covered in seconds!!!..needless to say there was no more laughing!! this thing is very impressive..only small complaints would be the tiny wheels, and the handle sit a little low for my 6'3 body...

***UPDATE***...still running strong!! it still amazes neighbors, its was a mild winter so i only used it 6 times but, it move a 1 foot snow like nothing!!Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Cheap Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

I received my Toro on a day where we got at least a foot of snow. The wind made huge drifts in spots. Putting it together was not a big problem but the lock nuts were slightly difficult for me to tighten by hand. I used 2 pairs of pliers...

I have never used a snow blower before. They are so heavy and require gas and oil--I'm pretty small and the thought of trying to use a monster like that--I knew it wasn't for me--not to mention the cost.

...Anyway, this machine is GREAT!! I don't usually leave feedback for things but I was so surprised at how it worked, I just had to. Upon first glance, you start wondering if it will work at all--It is very light--you look at the insides and again wonder how it will work. I still don't know how, but it does. It cut through 18" - 2' in some cases--and threw the snow far. The pictures from customers are very accurate. Once you get the hang of the cord it's a breeze.

This unit is just perfect for me because I have a raised patio. No problem for the toro. It's so light, I just picked it up with no problem and did the upper patio.

I have to add that I have a dog. I even did an area in the grass because the snow was so high on his legs. You just push it a little harder for the deeper stuff.

Oh yeah, one more thing...If you've never used a snow thrower/blower be careful not to aim the chute into the wind or you will have a cold face full of snow--it only takes once to learn that one.

It was well worth the money!! I highly recommend it.

Buying Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

I live in Buffalo, NY and we get our share of snow. I have a small gas powered snow thrower but I didn't want to deal with mixing and the gasoline/exhaust smell in my cloths afterwards. So I decided to give this electric thrower a try. I just received this on Thursday and had snow the following day. We had about 6 inches with drifts over 10 inches. This thing worked really well. It even cut through some frozen ice which were left over from previous snow storms. Awesome!
My only complaint is the discharge chute constantly lifted up from the force of the snow. But I'll try to tighten the bolt some more later. It's a carriage bolt but the square housing to keep the bolt in place is made of plastic. Poorly designed as it will strip easily but not a big deal.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Buy Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

Just used this to blow 3 inches of very wet and heavy snow in Chicago area. Worked unexpectedly very well. I completed my driveway, my sidewalks and my neighbor's sidewalks in 20 minutes flat. It usually takes me at least 40 minutes just to do the driveway.
As many reviewers stated, the chute did move a bit in heavy/wet snow condition. I had to correct the chute direction once in a while, not a big deal.
Cable is a little bit of inconvenience, but I am glad with my purchase after I saw my neighbor who just purchased a brand new gas powered snow blower had to restart his so many times because it could not handle the wet snow. He finally finished in about 50 minutes and my driveway is still cleaner than his :)

I just tried the Toro Snow Thrower on five plus inches of good packing snow and found it was more than up to the task.Easy to start and go(just push the handle button),my 1 1/2 hour job was done in about 30 min.
The 30 inch pile of slush, snow and ice at the end of the driveway moved a little slower, but it all moved with a few passes with no loss of power.
One will have to learn the ways of the power cord but I found this to be of very little bother. For price and convience compared to a larger gas blower I am quite satisfied with this purchace.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

This morning we had couple of inches of snow, so I've tried it for the first time. It was more than that at the beginning of the driveway where city cleaning service created a barrier of wet snow, but the snow blower worked just fine. In addition I've came home not smelling like a can of gasoline. This is my 3d snow blower - previous 2 were gas-powered, but they had trouble starting in cold weather, and snow has a tendency of arriving in winter. With this snow blower - no problem. One of the reviewers before me complained that his hands get tired of squeezing the handle. Yes, this is a security feature, and my hands did not get tired. However, I give only 4 stars because of assembly problem. The first step of the instruction says to connect the tubes of the handle while pushing in the electric cable which goes through these tubes, without, of course, damaging it. Well, the cable did not want to be pushed in! So, I've ended up disconnecting the base of the handle from the body of the device, and pulling the electric cable from another end instead of pushing it in. There was no problem of pushing the cable into the body. The whole operation took about 10 min, and required some minimal tools, e.g. a set of wrenches to work with hexagonal screw heads. So, if you are not intimidated by that - go ahead and buy this thing. I am definitely glad I did. BTW, buy the longest outdoor-rated extention cable you can.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

I got this snow thrower in March, 2006 for under $200 from Amazon. I hadn't used it until 2 days ago when south Jersey got hit with a winter storm. I cleared my 2 car driveway in under 10 minutes. I can't speak of it's ability in deeper snow yet but I have no complaints so far and the price is just right. This is a #1 seller on Amazon for a reason. It's light, electric so no gas or oil to mess with, it functioned as advertised and it's made by a dependable company. I also have a Toro lawn mower and leaf blower. I just used a Toro 1800 to clear my daughters driveway after a 4 in wet snow . The Toro just cut through the stuff like butter , throwing it an amazing 7-8 feet. I could not believe how well it performed. I have a 5.5 HP Gas Snow blower that I used to do my own driveway ealier. It actually took longer and I felt a bit more strained using it , than I did with the Toro 1800. I wasn't even breathing hard after the using the 1800 .
So much so, that I decided to get a 1800 for myself. No messing with gas or oil. The 5.5 HP is really a good backup for the bigger stuff, but the Toro will easily handel 4-5 in. height snow with no problem. If you have a health problem , ( I have 3 stents and am 63 yrs old) this could be the right answer to the problem of clearing driveways with no stress. Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

I was truly impressed with this small unit. It is lightweight and the snow was removed completely down to my concrete driveway. It was able to throw the snow adequately upon adjusting the spout to the proper height. The cord can be a little bit of a nuisance but nothing I couldn't deal with. I only had 6" to remove from my long double car driveway but it completed the job with ease and only got clogged once with the wetter snow. I can definitely deal with the small issues as opposed to shoveling. For the price on Amazon currently for $240 it is a bargain, with no gas and oil to worry about, just hope that during the snow storm you don't lose power.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Review

Have used this snow thrower on two occasions and was pleased with the results in both. In the worst case, after an ice/sleet/snow storm, I thought the rotor blades would surely be chipped or otherwise damaged from the icy snow mix, or from the pileup of snow and ice left by the snow plow at the foot of my driveway that I had to cut through. No damage to the rotor whatsoever.
I like the ease with which you can push the snow thrower and change the direction of the discharge chute. Did not get tired the entire time I was using it (more than an hour and a half). The part I found exhausting was the last ten minutes shoveling and lifting the snow in small areas not accessible to the thrower. Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Top Quality

I am surprised with the power of this little Giant. We had 8" of wet snow couple days ago. I was unsure if this mechine was going to take care of that. Since this was the first time I was going to use the Toro, I made sure that everything was ready to go. I pluged in the cord and squized the handle. Wow!!!!!. What a power. I made a big cut on one side of driveway and worked perpendicular to that. It worked great. Even I was able to remove salted snow plowed by city trucks. Only thing that I did not like about it is the switch which you have to squeeze to keep it runing. After a while it gets though to hold it. I wish there was somekind of lock position on that. Other than that I love it.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 This instant

Pros:
Powerful
Works Well

Cons
Cheaply made

Who should buy this? I would recommend against it due to the poor life.

It worked great for 2 years, trudging through anything I tried to go through, even the deep snow at the end of the driveway from the plow (shaving small amounts off at a time). When using it, be sure to follow the directions for how to move in a pattern where you don't go over the cord (or just think through it on your own). Also be sure to use a cold temperature rated cord to prevent it from becoming stiff in cold temperatures.

Shoot operation is poor as the carriage bolts that hold the shoot in position are fixed in plastic which immediately strips when you try to tighten them down so there isn't enough tension on the shoot. Secondly, the shoot rotates back to straight ahead and unless you creatively wrap a bungee cord around the handle to hold the crank in position (this still allows you to adjust it too since the bungee stretches).

However, after 2 seasons it just stopped working and produced a burning smell. Checked the belt and it was fine. The motor had failed. It was sparking terribly from the armature, and just out of warranty too.

I will skip buying another one of these, at this rate it is far more expensive than a gas blower. I was hoping for less maintenance due to it being electric. Maybe someone will make a similar unit that is actually well made. Without the reliability issue and poor build quality I would have rated it 4 star for function.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Immediately

Yeah, the only problem with this machine is that it doesn't look as manly as a big two stage gas snowblower ... but it works really well and never breaks down. Your neighbors won't laugh long once they see what this machine can do.

If you mainly get 7" of snow or less, then this will do the job amazingly well. After over 4 years of ownership, it still works perfectly.

It's very light weight and can be held off the ground using the handle on the chasis ... for skim lowering of a drift or bank.

I can testify that it takes serious abuse and keeps on working. It throws the wet stuff pretty darn good and in the typical snows, it can throw it 20-30' for real! You can start it in the middle of 3 car driveway and throw it over either side.

It's a nice side for doing areas you wouldn't want to touch with a larger 2-stage blower. Don't use it on rocks or gravel, however -- duh.

Toro makes top notch snow blowers up and down the line. If you don't mind dealing with the electric cord, this unit is really great. This is not the best choice for someone who gets snow measured in feet on a regular basis. It's very lightwight compared to almost anything else ... and always starts.

I reccomend running the electrical cord through the handle sqaure and tying it in a know before plugging it in ... so the cord doesn't come keep coming loose while operating it.

I have a tractor w/ 42" plow and a 24" two stage snowblower ... but I really find I can give up this little powerhouse ... it still throws it the farthest and is 100% reliable in over 4 years of Colorado snowclearing abuse.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Best Quality

This past week we received around 18 inches of snow. I used this 4 times with zero problems. I have a steep driveway and I had no problem pushing this up and down. I also used it to clear snow from my deck and to clear an area on the lawn for the dog to do it's business. It works very well for clearing large drifts since you can just lift it up and shave off the top of the drift. Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

I ordered this thrower AFTER the really big snow over Christmas (Denver)but it arrived just in time for another big one. The Toro has no trouble cleaning the drive down to pavement. It really does throw snow a long way. Our thrower makes an arc of snow in the air which looks just like the neighbor's big 2-stage down the street. (and it's much quieter) I thought having a cord trailing would be a pain, but it was fine. Wife helps when here, but I was able to work alone without a problem. The handle is a little too short for me. I have to bend too much and it tires the back somewhat. My cords are long enough to reach my own drive and walk, but not long enough to do the neighbors so that's up to Mr 2-stage. I thought the the impeller blade would wear quickly on concrete but see very little. Overall I am happy with the purchase. I believe I will be able to replace worn parts myself. It is light enough to carry easily. The price seems higher than you might expect for an electric but it delivers on it's claims. It is also small enough to fit easily out of the way in the garage. If it lasts a couple of years I'll call it a bargain. Glad I have it.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

For an electric powered snowblower this machine does a pretty decent job. Granted it could never compare to a gas powered machine but it is very useful. We live in West Michigan and get a lot of lake-effect snow showers. This machine will take on snow up to 10 inches deep. It works best on "dry" snow but will work on "wet" snow also - it just wont throw it as far. For where we live I use it mostly for quick maintenance or touch up clearing of snow and for sidewalks and other areas that the snowplow can't get to.

PROS: No mixing of oil and gas, small and convenient.

CONS: cord management.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

This is the 2nd toro 1800 I have purchased and consider this, for the cost, a very good machine. Its lightweight, low maintenance, durable (I live in western N.Y.) and can move its share of snow. I'm suprised at how well this thrower works! The main difficulty I have with it is that it's so light I sometimes have to fight to keep it aimed into the snow if it's a bit wet. It doesn't work all that well in wet snow, but it does move it, just not very far. It works very well with light powdery snow. This thrower clears my 100' single wide driveway very quickly. Wow! Do I love this snow-blower! It's light, it's easy, and it's dependable! You plug it in, and away it goes! We just had a blizzard of 13+inches, and while my neighbors were tugging and trying to start their snow blowers (which NONE of them would start!), we just powered away and got our driveway & sidewalks done quickly. People get concerned over the extension cord--don't--think of it like vacuuming the snow. You put the cord over your shoulder, and vacuum away. It's so light, you just lift it up and it powers the snow away. We purchased a 100' cord, and that is just the perfect length for doing sidewalks, and helping out your neighbor. It's not noisy, you don't smell like a gas station when you're done, and there is no maintenance. I'm now looking into buying a battery powered lawnmower--I am sold on these electric outdoor appliances. Don't be afraid of this purchase! Low Price Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

Had problems with the weakest link, the nuts and bolts holding the directional hood on. With better quality steel for the little pieces, washers, screws, nuts and bolts (they strip with a little torque) this would actually have been a pretty decent snow blower. After a terrible time mounting the hood with these bolts and nuts, and holding the washers on too,the rest of the assembly wasn't bad. Probably better to have another person's hand to hold the rubber and metal washers on each side of hood, while installing the blower's turning device. I thought everything would be fine, even though, I couldn't get the bolts to go all the way through the nuts' bad threads. So the blower hood remained too loose. (Directions warn against OVERTIGHTENING). Threads started stripping even with a little torque. I did get the hood mounted. Then for about 5 minutes snow didn't leak out. However with motor vibration, the hood moved continuously all over the place. It was supposed to stay set, around round blower head. It was frustrating. I blew snow all over my neighbors cars and into the path which, I was trying to clear. I live in a townhouse development with narrow paths and sidewalks, so distance wasn't an issue. It actually did an exceptionally good job there--just not in a good direction. I don't know if I'd get this model again, it could just be that lot of nuts & bolts, were bad?
On the positive side and if the hardwarde was manufactured properly, this Toro 1800 would have been a powerful little machine. It threw a good distance,(a good 15 to 20 feet) and, that was even with a 100ft. 14G extension cord. They advertise 30ft. Maybe with a very short 6' cord it would have thrown that distance? I assumed I'd lose some power, with a longer cord, but they must have designed it well in that area. It all comes down to where your snow ends up that made the difference between good and not so hot.
In summary: if you find that your LARGE MOUNTING BOLTS and NUTS, look okay with decent, EARLY threading, you'll probably be happy and love this blower. The snow will end up where you want it since the hood will stay in place. It was light-weight, easy to handle, even for a 103lb., 4'12" woman (this sounds taller than 5'). I could handle it just fine even in a wet snowstorm.
It would be a nice blower for townhomes' or row homes' walks and driveways--BUT search for the hardware and test the threading prior to taking it out of the large box. You'll save yourself a lot of time if you need to pack it up and return it. KEEP THE INSDIE CARDBOARD SIDES AND TOP, just in case.

Update in March 2008:
This year in NJ we had about 5-8 inches of "slightly wet" snow and this thing couldn't handle it. The chute kept getting clogged up so bad that practically it was non-functional. My nieghbour came over with his Gas powered snow thrower and it was a piece of cake for it.

I don't know if had anything to do with possible limitations on available power to that electric outlet or not but I doubt that. I used a standard 100' extension cord from an outlet in Garage and we have never had any problems with any other tool operating on the same circuit.

Original review:

For the last couple of years I had been looking for a good yet small and inexpensive snow thrower. I finally bought one this season and am very happy with the choice although today is the first time I used it.

Cost: I bought this for under $200 from Amazon in mid-February including delivery at home. Got a good deal.

Assembly: There is not too much to assemble but the handle assembly is tricky and so is the chute mounting. The large bolts for chute can be better designed so you can hold them with a screw driver from the head while tightening the nut from outside with a wrench. I couldn't get one of them all the way in and so the chute deflects during operation more often.

Storage: Small and light weight so I can just hang it on a big nail on a sidewall of my garage.

Operation: Yesterday and Today in central NJ we had about 3.5" inches of snow, freezing rain and all kinds of wintry mix. The blower worked fine, but as expected, did not scrap off the hard icy coating off my driveway or the sidewalk. It threw a good distance, farther than I thought with the heavy stuff. The cord management can be an issue but as others have said, you learn the pattern and get used to it. Light weight and electric operated is a big plus. I am very happy with the purchase. Cheap Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

The Toro 18 inch Power Curve electric snow thrower does an excellent job of throwing snow. I used it on snow that was about 8 inches deep and it had no trouble going through it and blowing it off the driveway. However, my driveway is 110 feet long and there is a wide turn-around and I found the electrical cord very difficult to manage. For short driveways (say half that long), it would be an excellent choice.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Buying Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

Overall this is a great tool that gets the job done. It takes quite a lot of snow to make it strain. I've used it once so far on some slushy snow that was about 6 inches deep. This stuff was really soggy so it was really heavy and dense. This thing cleared it out no problem. I'm glad I got it before this nasty snow because trying to shovel this stuff would have killed me. I mean, one scoop of this snow weighed probably 15 pounds, enough to make the shovel warp.

The worst part about this product is putting the handle together. The handle is two separate pieces that have to be screwed together. But the 2 pieces are still attached by the internal wire that carries the power from the switch to the motor. It's inside the tubes and so when you try to attach the handle the wire has about 2 inches of slack that you have to find a way to squish inside the tube before the top part of the handle can attach to the bottom part. It should have just slid together like it says in the instructions but no matter how hard I tried, the only way to get the handle to slide down and attach to the base without the wire getting in the way was to squish the wire into the tube. That's not a good design. Maybe mine was defective. Don't know.

The other problem is this so called "lock" that prevents "unauthorized" users from plugging the extension cord into it. This thing is a joke. You turn the key and a little plastic lever comes out and goes between the two contacts that plug into the extension cord. I tried it to see how it works. After I locked it and took the key out, I tried to pry the little lever with my finger to see how strong it was. As soon as I touched the stupid thing, it came loose so that any "unauthorized" user could use it. What a joke. This thing is a gimmick. Assembly was a nuisance, since the long handle consists of nested tubes in which the power line sits. This has to be assembled, getting the screws through inner and outer tubes while not damaging the cord. Once this is over, the machine worked fine, and for medium to small areas its very convenient. No fussing with gas, oil etc, although one needs a long power cord. Recommended.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

My only use was after the storm with a little snow, but a thick crest from the hail. It worked surprisingly well! I live on a corner in Queens in NYC with a long double driveway. With two passes, all of the snow and most of the 1" ice disappeared.
I wish the key were a little sturdier and that there were two.
As a senior citizen, I also wish the print and diagrams were bigger and esier to read. Aside from difficulty assembling the handle, which I had to get my neighbor to help me with, I am very pleased. I found it easy to operate and was able to do all the work by myself Not bad for an older lady!

This is a very good value for the price. It obviously won't be as good as a full-size gasoline-powered snow blower, but most of us don't really need that. This thrower is light (mine is hanging on a hook on the wall of my garage), maneuverable, starts right up with the touch of a button, doesn't need gas or oil, and does the job well. It cleans right down to the pavement, which is surprising, but it does it. It didn't throw my snow thirty feet, or anywhere close to thirty feet. I guess, to an extent, it depends on what kind of snow you are trying to clear, but I used mine for two different snow falls, and I'd say mine maxed out at around ten feet, but that was all I needed. This makes clearing the driveway sort of like vacuuming. For one of the snows, which was very wet, the chute clogged repeatedly, but I think a full-size gas powered blower would have had the same problem. I am very happy with the product. Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Top Quality

During our recent March snow/ice storm of the weekend of March 16 my little Toro 1800 electric snow thrower came through like a charm! It cleared this very heavy 8" of ice and snow around the perimeter of my home without fail. When I was all done I threw this lightweight 24 lb. machine into the trunk of my car and went and cleared my parents home as well. The only one negative that I could possibly think of when using the Toro 1800 was the fact that because of it's light weight, when it got down to the cleared bare pavement it had a tendancy to vibrate and move around a little. This was a minor inconvenience as it did it's job of removing the snow very well. I would definitely purchase this machine again. I would recommend it to anyone who does not want to deal with the possibility of a gas snow blower not starting when you really want it and need it, but yet does not wish to use a back breakin shovel either. The cord was no inconvenience for me as I am used to a electric lawnmower that I use in the Summer months as well. Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Buy Now

I decided to jump on this at an awesome price after reading other reviews. I had a Toro gas snowblower on its last legs that was nothing short of annoying to use (spent most of the winter shoveling instead). Fortunately I only was able to use it once this winter, but I have to say I was impressed. We got a good 5-6 inches of snow and this cut right through it. This throws the snow as far as the gas blower it replaced and is much easier to maneuver with its light weight. Even with my low back in quite a bit of pain, it was not too difficult to use. Keeping the cord out of the way was easy enough, also.

Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. This thing never stalled on me. I made it through without swearing and did not stink like exhaust when I was done!

The cons:
1) Putting the chute on the blower: The nut supplied was the type with a plastic retaining ring built in (can't remember their proper name). The chute is plastic and therefore did not hold the carriage bolt securely when tightening the supplied nut, stripping the plastic.

2) The wheels: Although I had no problem with them so far, the wheels are like something from a child's toy truck.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

I recently used this product in the last snow storm we had here in PA. It contained snow, sleet, and ice as well as freezing rain. It was a good time to see what this machine can do in those conditions.

The snow mixture reached a height of approximately 10 inches plus. In using this product I found that it made my job a lot easier. So easy that my girlfriend utilized it in a trial run and was successsul in using it.

The liked the snow range that was shot from the blower as well as the directional function of the snow shoot. However, I found myself raking the snow 2-3 times in order to pick the snow up off the ground. In addition, the shovel plate on this product did not do well with picking up or removing the ice. I had to manually chip the ice away with an ice pick for the machine to pick the ice up. There was no problem after that.

In all I think this is a good machine for quick jobs on smaller sections of land.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Cheapest Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

Picked it up in mid-March, right after the last big snow storms here in MN so I wasn't able to try it out until today. We received 5-7 inches of heavy wet snow, on a 1 inch layer of wet slush. The machine worked great, clearing down to the concrete with little effort and throwing the snow 15-25 feet. It never really even bogged down and didn't jam either. The cord was a bit of a pain, but the only cold weather one I had was a 100 foot 12 gauge, which made it a little heavier then it needed to be. I think it will work well for about 90% of the snow we get here and being able to just plug it in and go will be nice.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.
