The Bravery beyond the scope of

It is the experience of today that mad-E 'regret and anger about what has happened in the past, and fear of what will happen tomorrow.

There we were, facing off against each other, the freshly fallen snow lying thick on this soil, this was not only without the snow was heavy and thick and wet: the perfect way for weapons in the winter. .. Snowballs. In our group we had an assembly line: a couple of guys to make snowballs, acouple of guys to decision makers for the recovery of the snow, a few guys in a society that has made again to the pitcher, and the rest of the group to lay down their arms.

Snow Throwers

So fly, we made our stand, the air with rockets in a perfect arc of white peppered harmless splat in front of our line of fire. We stayed where we are sure that we had an update on other area teams, and then we will establish our distance and began to throw snowballs at us, raising theFront and odd spectators. As we approach, it would be the other team accordingly. They were held contempt and ridicule, we like them launch their ill-aimed snowball. They knew that we had some great arms in our group, and they made sure they were always just a bit 'off the field or our attacks. More who were out of reach, were brave, until we finally make a run on them and scatter like leaves falling in autumn, a strong wind.

The Bravery beyond the scope of

FromExperience I discovered that sometimes, myself and other people, probably many, dealing with stress the same way: We look good enough to prove beyond the reach of the situation and their implications to ensure that we are not affected by it, and if it lands in the vicinity your home, we scatter in all directions, hoping that the attack, only to lose the seemingly worse. And since there is no way to hide, with the stress in our lives that we feel matter. If we are not confronted with the direct effects ofThe situation is not surprising as we brave?

I find that to be as much as I know what to do, and how important it is able to look at what is really happening, I sometimes resist looking at the current reality of the situation. The problem with this scenario is simple: as an ostrich's head in the sand if we do not know what is really happening, how can we solve the problem?

This week if you are faced with stressful situations that you hear fromYour bid, and you want to win the fight, here are some tips that may help:

1. Focus your attention on things you might do something that you can not.

2. Deciding what to do against it, and keep you busy.

3. Settle on how carefully a situation, it's worth, and then give no more.

If these simple situations, you are ready and prepared to meet the greatest challenges of life.

Make your bestWeek Ever!

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Review

Even the most skeptical of my friends were quickly silenced when they saw this thrower in action....

Two huge storms hit UT dropping over a foot of snow each and I easily cleared my driveway and sidewalks with this wonder. I was amazed that it would actually clear the snow all the way to the concrete with no effort at all! It's easy to push, turn and clean off when you're done.

Some reviews mentioned the wheels as a problem, but I think they work just fine. Since the Toro clears away all the snow in front of them, the wheels fuction more like guides anyway.

As far as the comments about the cord becoming unplugged....well the manufacturer tells you in the instructions to loop the cord through the opening on the opposite side and tie the cord in place. I did just that and I never had a problem with the cord coming out during use.

The only downside is of course having to deal with the cord. If you have an extra long driveway (>100 ft), or your sidewalks are far from an outlet, the Toro may not be for you. As for the rest of you out there, buy this bad boy then sit back and watch the snow fly. You'll finally look forward to winter storms instead of dreading all the shoveling!! This was my winter to buy a snow blower. If it might be yours, read on if you'd like for my new user report!

What I bought was this:
Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

I bought this machine because I was sitting in a friend's living room and there, right in front of me, was a brand new, still in-the-box Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025. Well, I realized right then and there that I NEEDED a snow blower, what with my weakened condition ( a recent medical challenge) and all. Not to mention the several hours it takes to shovel my walkways and sidewalks (yes indeed, plural, my building faces two streets) when we get hit with two or three inches of snow.

Knowing that my friend is meticulous in his research (AND, Amazon shows 509 reviews, 308 5-star and 120 4-star), I just copied down the name and model number. A few weeks later and a few minutes on Amazon and I had a snow thrower on the way.

Just in time.

It arrived late last week, and an inch and change of snow arrived today. What a good day to put the snow thrower together!

Assembly was simple, with well-written instructions (rare!). Two people would make the job easier and quicker.

This is, just to emphasize, an ELECTRIC machine. All to the good for me, but if you need to be more than 150 feet out or don't have a power source, you'd be SOL.

By the way, you'll want heavy duty, exterior-rated, minimum 12 or 14 gauge (150') or 16 gauge (100') power cords. Just the right cord is featured on the Amazon page, at a good price. I already had two cords, a 12 gauge 100 footer and a 14 gauge 50'. I did fine. This machine likes power, so using a circuit that isn't doing anything else is a good idea. By the way, Toro says 150 feet is the limit, and I believe them.

So.

I just cleared that inch and change, basically down to the hard surface, easy and quick. Almost effortlessly, which is a good thing, given that I'm running about 65% of my normal energy this week.

The machine is light (24 pounds) and has well-placed handles, so up and down the stairs was easy, not to mention maneuvering through the snow. The chute is well designed, so placing snow was duck soup. The on-off switch (the only other control) is a simple squeeze handle, perfectly designed (which is how I feel about the whole machine). There's nothing not to like! Using it is similar to using an upright vacuum cleaner, with about the same noise level.

I was able to work in much warmer clothing, barely broke a sweat, expended much less effort, and didn't come in needing a shower, as was the case anytime I shoveled.

Just for a frame of reference, I cleared about 2,600 square feet, which is about evenly divided between brick walk and sidewalk. It's a lot of walkway!

Oh, the price of the machine is $300, and shipping is free. Worth every penny to me, given the time and work saved. I would have had to hire someone this year if shoveling was still the way.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

The immediate start is my favorite part, no shoulder wrenching pull required. No fuel to buy or mix or fill. I love this machine! Chicago winters can be daunting and dangerous and yet I am in control of snow removal with my Toro electric. Yes, the cord is a bit of a challenge, but if you know how to work a vacume cleaner, you are all set. The "throw distance" is surprisingly efficient. Price was right too. Not in the snow making snow blower

Okay. If you are new to snow, where we begin. There are so many manufacturers of snow blower with the engine performance and widths, and with a loss where to start.

Then you feel snow. What are they and how do they differ from a snow blower or not?

Snow Throwers

Well, we hope these few short paragraphs to clarify some basic concepts and give you the information needed to intelligently pursue the purchase of machinery from one speciesRemove the snow.

Not in the snow making snow blower

Snow blower snow blower vs

Ask most people on this difference, and say that they are equal. Only a "throw" the snow from your sidewalk and a "coup" by the snow patch. Just as some say "tomato" and some say, "tomato".

In essence, snow and snow are the same. Remove the snow from the ground and shot goes off (or pull) on the side. How do they do that is another story.

There are two types of snow (Snow), a single and a two-step. Some say that a single stage snow is "snow" and a double layer "plow."

What is called, it is important to know these two types of snow throwers.

Types of snow

with a single high-speed fan to move single-stage snowblowersthe snow into the machine and then out of the chute. The impeller is usually in the form of two or more curved plastic paddles that the snow towards the centerline of the machine where the chute is located. single-stage snowblowers are generally for use in machinery and the movement of light least amount of snow.

In contrast, the two-stage snow blowers have one or more low-speed metal screws, which break up the snow and move ithigh fan speeds are different, the jokes out of the snow chute with considerable force. Obviously, phase two of the snow blower needed for moving large quantities.

Now that the difference in snow guns that you know for what? , If you read carefully, you should have seen fans Well, the first of the two requiremnts for the election of a snow. The first requirement is that your need is to be removed depending on how much snow they have.

If youlive in a part of the country, the feet and legs to be snow, or do you plow a lot (or remove), when you need a two stage blower. These are stronger and better and move more snow. They are gas powered and usually the width of the road up to 30 inches or maybe even more.

On the other hand, if you just plow your sidewalk, and is usually only a few centimeters, a single-stage snow blower will suffice. These couldbe fed with gas, but it can also be electric, and a width of perhaps can clear 12 to 20 inches. They are also easy to handle and easy to store.

The second requirement for a snow thrower is to understand what kind of surface you are plowing.

The lives of a single-stage snow blower pick up and break all the snow in their path. Consequently, this type of worm from a hard rubber or plastic and will get in direct contact with the ground. This means thatis clearly the bottom of it and do not have the snow behind. Sounds good, right?

Well, that's not good if you have a dirt road, which crossed Nees. Since the worm comes into direct contact with the ground, will take the stones and rocks and shoot out chute. So bystanders were wounded by stones in their way.

The bottom line is that if you have a dirt road, you may need a two-stage fan. These fans are not the ground (and therefore zeroLeaving behind a layer of snow), so you do not have top worry for the intake fan for the stones.

What else is required of a snow blower? You can choose different options and bells and whistles, and depending on the manufacturer and model. Once they see us, but simple and what you like in your own snow blower.

That sums it up. It 's so simple. If you want a snow blower, you must first calculate how much snowwill be moved and then turn the area into the clearing. After these two things I now know what snow blower (single or double stage) you need. It 's all downhill.

I'm somewhat amazed at the complaints about having a cord on this unit. It's not battery or solar powered, it's AC powered and yes, you need a long cord. If it gets in your way, then you need to practice using electrical lawn equipment. The cord is not a problem...some of these users are the problem.
Another comment dealt with having to get an ice pick and manually chip away at ice....AMAZING..it's a SNOW blower, not an ICE blower. How can you possibly criticise a tool for not doing what it was never intended to do?
We're having some of the worst weather that we've had in 15 years in northeast Ohio and I can say without a doubt...this little machine is amazing. No, it's not worth a damn in the garden, but it'll compete with any of the gas snowblowers on our culdesac. I consistently blow 20' - 30' when the gas guzzlers of my neighbors struggle to get 1/2 that distance. I also finish my drive and walkways in 1/2 the time...no stalling, no fuel line freezes, bad plugs, dirty carbs, etc. Lightweight, easy to maneuver and just a great little machine. I have a large Craftsman 10hp, 2 stage gas snow blower for our very long driveway & decided to get this for the large wooden deck and other areas close in around the house. I was suprised at how much power this electric unit provides and at the same time how light it is. I think it's actually lighter than our vacuum cleaner. I have so far used it for small to medium snowfalls, that is less than 8" and it works very well. I have no doubt it will work just fine when the big one hits. The only drawback (minor) is having to manage the electric cord. Cheap Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

I really enjoy this snow thrower. We have an electric lawn mower due to the size of our lawn (and my mechanical ability). Our driveway is only slightly longer and I was still wanted to avoid the gas, oil, and maintenance of a gas thrower. I tried the snow thrower analysis tool on Toro's site and it said the electric would not be suitable for my needs. I figured I would try it anyway and I'm glad I did!

It cuts right through fluffy snow, even over a foot high and will cut into heavy snow up to a foot high in small increments. It has it's limitations but it's about half the price of a comparable gas that you have to pull-start. It pulls to the left a little when the snow gets thick as there is only 1 drive belt on the left side so that's where the most torque is. It's light enough to lift up onto the deck and clear that as well.

All in all I'd say this is a great thrower for someone who has limited storage, mechanical ability, or just doesn't want to deal with the hassle that is gas.

I fully recommend this thrower to save you money, and save your back.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Hey,

Two things to remember- it's electric and it has limitations due to size. Be patient and persistent and this product will work. I just cleared snow that was over 18 inches deep from my large deck and cleared a 200 square foot area on my lawn out back for my pet to do her business. It worked well.

However, I did have one problem at first. The belt kept slipping off. Very frustrating! I was ready to return it when I tried one more thing. I turned the spring that connects to the large belt tensioner over and reattached it "upside down." It worked! Evidently, the factory assembled the product with the spring upside down and I ended up turning it right side up for the proper amount of tension to keep the belt on.

Another tip. Don't disconnect the spring to the large belt just to get the large belt on and off. Just hold the belt tensioner where it releases tension on the belt. It's a pain getting the spring on and off otherwise.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

The toro snow thrower has worked great for me, but not bullet proof.
first use it grabbed the cord (my fault) and had to be totally disasembeled ( a harley tool kit works great) to untangle. a few weeks later found a rock in a snow pile about 2 inchs round and tore a chunk out of the auger, I have not repaired but torro still works great,
It does not have enough power for the wet sloppy snow we are currently getting and clogs up alot (still better than a shovel).
If I reorderd I would go with the gas model.
cheers

I bought this snow blower from Amazon and it was broken in my second usage when I tried to clean the snow about 8". It may be due to my abuse, I have to say. The snow is mixed with ice debris as it was pushed away from the street to my driveway by the snow removal trucks. So the snow is compact and heavy. This may overweight the snow blower.

However, what drove me crazy is the local dealer. After the snow blower was broken, I called the manufacture and was told to bring my snow blower to this dealer for repair. It was bought two weeks ago and has two-year warranty. When I came to this dealer, the guy looked my receipt and said: you bought it online and have no warranty!
I was shocked. I said, why? how it is possible for online purchase with no warranty?
He said: no warranty, you did not buy it from the manufacture. I worked here for twenty years and never heard the online purchase has warranty. Who did you call? If they say you have warranty, give me the authorization code!
When I was calling the manufacture again in the shop, the guy came to me and said: we are going to close; you can leave your snow blower here and let us to check it. but you have to pay for it because you have no warranty!
So I was force to leave with my broken snow blower.

After come home, I open the snow blower as shown in the manual and find the large drive belt fell from the motor and wrapped. I spent less than an hour to pull it off and install it back to the blower. Now it works.

I then warn the future buyers:
1) this snow blower is designed to remove snow, not ice or compact snow. If the snow is compact, loose it before using the blower.
2) if you often have heavy snow in your areas, you'd better not use this product.
3) be prepared to be handyman if you have a rude local dealer like what I got. you can do better job than these rude guys without angry and wasting your time.

As others have expressed, the belt design on this snow thrower is terrible. After 30 total minutes of light usage, the belt was thrown off and shredded to pieces. Toro sent a new belt, which remained on for literally 15 seconds before it was thrown off and also shredded. The belt and pulley design is just terrible - something you'd expect a high school freshman studying engineering to design. The wheel which guides the belt is cheap plastic and contains no guide system to insure belt alignment. Toro customer service ignores questions and complaints in emails and just tells you to go to a dealer. Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Get it now!

My toro snow thrower is now five years old and still works great. It is exactly what I need for the type of snowfall we have in southern New England. Light enough to lift, powerful enough to throw snow 30 feet. I have a 100 foot cord on a wonder winder and I can tear through my 60 foot long driveway and large parking area in 30 minutes or less. I almost jog up and down the long runs blowing the snow away.

The one thing to remember is that since this is NOT a big gas machine you need to pick your battles. If I expect more than 5 or 6 inches of snow then I clear my drive when it gets to be 3 inches or so. then I clear it again later when the snow is done.

It is far superior in overall work, maintenance, and hassle of what my neighbors go through with their gas machines, not even considering the neighbor who had his snow machine transmission sieze up -- the Toro doesn't even have a transmission!

This machine should win a prize.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Buy Now

The Toro 1080 Electric Snow Thrower is fantastic! I just bought mine (I am an "over 50 female") 3 weeks ago and we had a big snow last week. It handled a foot of snow without a problem! If you're used to using an electric lawn mower, you'll have absolutely no problem with this snow thrower. I'm very pleased with the performance, and it was easy to put together right out of the box. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that since it is a bit light-weight, it tends to slide sideways a bit when hitting a big drift, but for the price you can't beat it. I love being able to clear the snow without having a bunch of gas & oil fumes everywhere! Thanks, Toro for a great product!Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Order Now

I get a lot of blowing snow from 1 inch to 1 foot (in drifts). This little Toro does a quick job at clearing my driveway with plenty of power. If you get more snow then that, then just clear it as it falls.

The cord is kind of a drag (no pun intended), but it's not that big of a deal, and it's better then dealing with getting a big snow blower to start up on bad gas.

The only issue is that my sidewalk is not completely level as each section has settled, and I have to keep the front up just a bit to make sure it goes over the different levels without banging along. It would be nice to have small rollers on the front to make it glide better?

But other then that, I'm glad I bought this electric Toro. I cleared my driveway with 3" of snow in less then three minutes yesterday. It use to take me about 20 minutes the old fashioned way.

Plus this morning, I cleared out some drifted snow against my garage door as I was leaving for work at 6 a.m. The blower is quiet enough that I didn't wake up my neighbors. Try that with a gas blower!Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Best Quality

I'd give it 100 stars if I could. I love this machine. I have arthritis in my hands and can't do heavy lifting or pulling and this is so light weight and easy to operate. It only took about 5 minutes to get it ready to use. The cord never gets in my way. I live in North West Iowa and we are getting hit hard with the snow this year and the huge drifts to get through. I can't afford to hire someone as I have a lot of driveway and two long walks that need it every time it snows and sometimes in between just from the blowing snow. They want $40 each time. I cleared both walks that are 40 feet long each and my oversized double driveway that is 20 feet long. I did them all in 25 minutes! I was told that this will not handle high drifts but that's not true. I lifted it at an angle and hit the drifts and knocked them loose then blew it away. I couldn't even get into my garage as my electric door opener is not working and there were drifts more than 3 feet high all the way to the side door. It's been that way for two weeks. I used this and got it all open in less than an hour, even with the 100% 3 ft. tall drift that went all the 40 feet to the garage door. It's so narrow that I can keep it in my front porch walk in so it is there when I need it. I just open the door and set it out and start clearing. I bought a 50 foot cord to go with it but wish I would have bought a 100 ft. I had a 50 ft. but it is not good for cold so it gets unflexible very quickly in the below zero temps we have. The blue one for the cold works great and stays flexible. This is so easy to lift that I have had no problems lifing it in and out of the porch. I thought the plastic would break from the hard snow as it chewed it up but there is not even a mark on the blades and we had some light ice in between the layers, This last snow was wet and heavy and it had no problems spitting it out! Don't listen to anyone that says this will not work well, fast and easy. They are ALL wrong!Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.
