I've owned a Toro 1800 for several years...Which is why I'm shopping around for a bigger and more powerful snow blower
The electric Toro 1800 does a very good job for removing light snow over small distances. I live in New England, and have used it to clear my driveway for up to 10 inches of snowfall.
BUT, the Toro 1800 does NOT work well under heavy "wet snow" conditions. It also does not work well if the snow is allowed to freeze over time and become hard. Even under light snow conditions, it takes a LONG TIME to clear the "average" sized driveway.
The Toro 1800 IS a good machine. But unless you have all day to clear away light snow, the Toro 1800 is really only for small jobs. Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.
