If you have a small area to clear where having an extension cord is not a problem, then this snow thrower is a good choice. I have a patio that needs cleaning and it does it quickly and easily. Its light so I can haul it up and down stairs easily and its great not needing to mess with gas. I read in other reviews that the cord can at times be a problem and its true so if you have a large area get something else. The blower really does shoot the snow 30 feet. The chute adjustment screw is a bit cheap as the entire unit is made out of plastic so you need to readjust from time to time, but its not a big problem. I used different nuts with nylon inserts on the chute to prevent them from loosening so you can get just enough tension without damaging the plastic and yet can move it where you desire.
