I was looking for an electric snow thrower, surveyed all the competitors our there, and opted for the Toro with all the bells and whistles, but I have to say I was extremely disappointed. I used it on only 3 inches of snow and the plastic blades cracked in half midway through clearing my driveway. I think they hardened because of the extreme cold and don't see how they could ever hold up during the winter. I'm returning this plastic blade Toro and going with another electric unit I found in my search that had a better price, more power, larger clearing width and steel blades.
