We got our first snow yesterday and I was eager to try my new TORO snow blower...however, within about 15 min. it quit working...the drive belt had come off. I got the manual and proceeded to reinstall the belt...second try it worked for about 5 minutes before the belt came off again. I called TORO customer service and they gave me the number of the nearest authorized service center,,,in the next state! I called and the service manager told me that "oh yes, that model has a known design flaw with the idler pulley and TORO has issued a service kit" I called TORO back and they said that my model was not the one with the known problem and I could not get a kit to fix it. So, it is back in the box awaiting UPS to take it back to Amazon for a refund....thank god I bought it from them. Bottom line: poor quality item with obvious design flaw and nonexistent TORO customer service.Get more detail about
