When I received this I had read all the reviews and tips on this product and had planned for a hard time in the assembly. Within 15 minutes it was assembled and ready to work. The next day we got a storm which typically for Maine only called for 2" but we got about 8 instead. I had read that you should snow blow frequently to avoid deep snow as it would not work as well, however, I hadn't gotten home in time to do that and this machine blew through the snow like a monster on steroids. This last storm was almost 3 feet of snow and it was close to a foot of snow each time I did the deck it was snow so hard and fast there was no doing otherwise. In the morning I did that last 10-12" of snow on the deck, then raked the roof to avoid it collapsing and of course covered the deck again but now it was hard packed from the fall. It again, went through it like it was nothing. To get to the garage it was of course the 3 feet of snow so I just tipped it back and took two swipes to bring it down and it was just so easy. I am not a big woman and I have 3 herniated disks in my neck so this machine was a God send for me.
