Cheap Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

my husband has back and heart problems, when the snow thrower arrived he had it ready to go in just a few hours. A couple of days after we received the thrower we also had quite a snow storm. I think it was getting to be a contest as who could get to the machine first. We love it, my husband has no trouble handling it while using the machine, in fact he can hardly wait for the next storm, I can wait!! We are able to clean clear down to the cement and throw at least 30 feet. I have recommended this machine to everyone I talk to and we know we are getting a good brand with Toro.

Buying Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025

I'm a 50ish grandma with a bad back living in New England. Shoveling has gotten to be too much, but I knew I couldn't handle the weight of a gas powered snow blower.

We've had double our normal snowfall this winter, and with this snow blower, I can clean our 60 foot long, double width driveway in under an hour, and I'm not sore and exhausted when I'm done.

I read all the reviews before I bought it, and the people who complain that it has plastic blades and sometimes slips and slides because it's so lightweight are right. However, the advantage of having a machine light enough that I can handle and powerful enough to get the job done makes it worth any "disadvantages"!

It will easily handle 6-10 inches of snow at a time. As another reviewer noted, it can even handle the end of the driveway when I get plowed in if I break up the piled snow a little with a shovel first (no lifting or actual shoveling needed).

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lightweight machine sufficient to get the job done!Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

so far, it seems to be just what I needed. It is lightweight, and while it doesn't necessarily cut down on time (because of the cord, and having to plug amd unplug it in different outlets depending on where I am working), it certainly saves on energy! I, a middle-aged woman, can use it easily, and it does a job that is certainly comparable to what I can do with a shovel. I am defeinitely happy with my purchase so far, and love the fact that it starts easily, and I don't have to worry about having gas/oil around. My only responsibility is to pay the electric bill!Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

After several hours of shovelling this winter, and with more snow in the forecast it was time to find a better way. I had tried a neighbours Ariens gas blower, which whilst it did the job, was heavy and I try to avoid the hassle of maintaining gas powered equipment if possible.

Researching on the internet, the Toro 1800 seemed to be the best option for an electric blower. I ordered it and Amazon duly delivered 48 hours later...and just in time. This past weekend we had almost 14 inches of snow. This blower had three outings tackling 6, 4 and 4 inches. It was outstanding. It is also light enough to lift, so you can clear drifted banks in layers. I may only have about 800 sq.ft to clear, but this machine saved me about 3 hours this past weekend. I encountered no problems with the chute not staying where I put it as has been reported in some other reviews.

I only hope it is durable, but at $300 it costs less than some of my neighbours have already spent on plowing this winter. I give it five stars, because it does exactly what it claims to do - don't expect it tackle the icy road plow stuff and accept the limitations that come with using a cord. For a smallish driveway, this is the perfect blower.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.
