I purchased the Toro product because I liked the benefits of an electric thrower: no pollution, no gas, etc. In several modest Michigan snow storms it has done ok, but within the first two months of use the internal belt has fried/broken. This does not seem right, and gives me little confidence in the long-term viability of the product and its design and materials.
Too bad, since the idea of an electric thrower is appealing.
Re the cord: annoying to have to constantly adjust, but you learn to live with it and navigate a path to avoid too much relocating of the cord.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.
