I bought this on Amazon and after a coupon discount, free shipping and signing up for the CC discount I paid less than $200. I have only used in once on about 5 inches of wet snow and it worked great. Cleared a 2 car driveway and sidewalk in about 20 minutes. It threw the wet snow about 10-12 feet or I could do a "half pass" and it would throw it about 20+ feet. Only downside was having to move the cord out of the way all the time but I'm sure with practice I can improve my path to eliminate this issue. With all the snow that has fell in Colorado I decided to purchase a snow thrower. I did not want to spend alot of money on a gas one and decided to go with this electric Torro 1800 because of the good reviews.

It was very simple to put together. The thing is so light and did not look like it can handle much snow. Boy was I wrong. This thing is a beast. I have a 3 car garage and only shoveled for 2 leaving over 4 feet of snow on the other. After putting together the 1800 I decided to clear the 3rd driveway. The 1800 hundred cleared this out without a problem. I had to do it by layers but was very surprised at how far it was throwing wet snow. It was a 50 degree day. I am very happy with this purchase.
