We have gotten buried with snow this year. It was getting really hard to throw the snow from the shovel at all, or high enough! This is easy to use (just be really careful controlling where your electrical cord is at all times). It's very light, you can lift it easily, clean steps or porches, it cleaned right down to the ground. It's easy to handle compared to pushing a big snowblower around. When we had a freeze after the snow, and I wanted to protect it, I just put it in my kitchen! It does throw the snow quite a distance, does great on light snow, but requires a few passes to take down high or heavy stuff. It's like a munchkin snowblower!!
