I bought the Toro about 10 years ago. Since it is an electric snow blower it is rated to handle only small areas with less than 6 inches of soft snow. I live in New Jersey and we periodically get large amounts of snow. I have used my machine with snow falls as little as 4 inches and as much as 18 inches. With larger snow falls its takes a lot longer but if used right this little machine gets the job done. Every year I expect the machine to give-out but it surprises me and keeps on working. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to maintain a gas snow thrower and also wants some help reducing manual shoveling. I am waiting for Toro to come out with a larger model and would purchase it in a heart-beat.
