We have been waiting for snow to try out this little snow thrower. It has tackled the big 18 inch Nor'easter storm today, Dec. 19. We did take it about 3-4 inches at a time, making multiple passes throughout the day as the snow fell. It throws the snow about twenty feet, has sufficient power to plow through drifts, and cleans pretty close to the surface, not leaving too much of a snow film behind. It is easy to push, about the same as a shopping cart. We went for the electric model; since we get only a few snows per year, usually less than three inches each, and don't want to have to maintain a gasoline engine.
