Despite the apparent chintziness of this product, we have been very pleased with its performance. First we tried the Snow Joe, but that thing died after only making it through 1/3 of our 100' driveway in about 4" very light, dry snow. The teeth on the belt had already worn down and so we returned it. We bought the Toro instead and have used it 4 times so far in snow as deep as 1' and have been very happy with its performance.
