This is my first winter in a house with a 75-foot long, steep driveway. After the first blizzard of the season and trying to clean the driveway with a Toro electric snow shovel, I shook loose $300 and bought this snow thrower. OMG, I love this thing! It just removed about 5 inches of snow down to the pavement off that ridiculous driveway in about 15 minutes, It rocks! The only thing some people might dislike is the cord. It is challenging trying to manage it - keeping it from under your feet or getting in front of the machine - but that's a small price to pay to not have to maintain a gas-powered engine.
