I bought this because it's electric and therefore I didn't have to pay for gas or worse yet have to deal with the smells and extra mess of a gas blower. It it also very light weight and yet throw snow quiet far. I have a huge driveway and clear it out in very little time. Also, it is extremely quiet which means I can use it very early in the day without fear of disturbing the neighbors.
