We typically get 3-6" of snow in the DC area (when it does snow). I have a 2-car driveway, and I have to clear the street area in front of my mailbox for my mail-delivery person also. Using a shovel, it would take me 45-60 minutes. With this unit, I have it finished in 11 minutes. It does throw snow about 25-30 feet. I would not recommend it for anything over 12" deep.
