The Toro 1080 Electric Snow Thrower is fantastic! I just bought mine (I am an "over 50 female") 3 weeks ago and we had a big snow last week. It handled a foot of snow without a problem! If you're used to using an electric lawn mower, you'll have absolutely no problem with this snow thrower. I'm very pleased with the performance, and it was easy to put together right out of the box. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that since it is a bit light-weight, it tends to slide sideways a bit when hitting a big drift, but for the price you can't beat it. I love being able to clear the snow without having a bunch of gas & oil fumes everywhere! Thanks, Toro for a great product!Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Order Now

I get a lot of blowing snow from 1 inch to 1 foot (in drifts). This little Toro does a quick job at clearing my driveway with plenty of power. If you get more snow then that, then just clear it as it falls.

The cord is kind of a drag (no pun intended), but it's not that big of a deal, and it's better then dealing with getting a big snow blower to start up on bad gas.

The only issue is that my sidewalk is not completely level as each section has settled, and I have to keep the front up just a bit to make sure it goes over the different levels without banging along. It would be nice to have small rollers on the front to make it glide better?

But other then that, I'm glad I bought this electric Toro. I cleared my driveway with 3" of snow in less then three minutes yesterday. It use to take me about 20 minutes the old fashioned way.

Plus this morning, I cleared out some drifted snow against my garage door as I was leaving for work at 6 a.m. The blower is quiet enough that I didn't wake up my neighbors. Try that with a gas blower!Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Best Quality

I'd give it 100 stars if I could. I love this machine. I have arthritis in my hands and can't do heavy lifting or pulling and this is so light weight and easy to operate. It only took about 5 minutes to get it ready to use. The cord never gets in my way. I live in North West Iowa and we are getting hit hard with the snow this year and the huge drifts to get through. I can't afford to hire someone as I have a lot of driveway and two long walks that need it every time it snows and sometimes in between just from the blowing snow. They want $40 each time. I cleared both walks that are 40 feet long each and my oversized double driveway that is 20 feet long. I did them all in 25 minutes! I was told that this will not handle high drifts but that's not true. I lifted it at an angle and hit the drifts and knocked them loose then blew it away. I couldn't even get into my garage as my electric door opener is not working and there were drifts more than 3 feet high all the way to the side door. It's been that way for two weeks. I used this and got it all open in less than an hour, even with the 100% 3 ft. tall drift that went all the 40 feet to the garage door. It's so narrow that I can keep it in my front porch walk in so it is there when I need it. I just open the door and set it out and start clearing. I bought a 50 foot cord to go with it but wish I would have bought a 100 ft. I had a 50 ft. but it is not good for cold so it gets unflexible very quickly in the below zero temps we have. The blue one for the cold works great and stays flexible. This is so easy to lift that I have had no problems lifing it in and out of the porch. I thought the plastic would break from the hard snow as it chewed it up but there is not even a mark on the blades and we had some light ice in between the layers, This last snow was wet and heavy and it had no problems spitting it out! Don't listen to anyone that says this will not work well, fast and easy. They are ALL wrong!Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.
