During our recent March snow/ice storm of the weekend of March 16 my little Toro 1800 electric snow thrower came through like a charm! It cleared this very heavy 8" of ice and snow around the perimeter of my home without fail. When I was all done I threw this lightweight 24 lb. machine into the trunk of my car and went and cleared my parents home as well. The only one negative that I could possibly think of when using the Toro 1800 was the fact that because of it's light weight, when it got down to the cleared bare pavement it had a tendancy to vibrate and move around a little. This was a minor inconvenience as it did it's job of removing the snow very well. I would definitely purchase this machine again. I would recommend it to anyone who does not want to deal with the possibility of a gas snow blower not starting when you really want it and need it, but yet does not wish to use a back breakin shovel either.
