The toro snow thrower has worked great for me, but not bullet proof.
first use it grabbed the cord (my fault) and had to be totally disasembeled ( a harley tool kit works great) to untangle. a few weeks later found a rock in a snow pile about 2 inchs round and tore a chunk out of the auger, I have not repaired but torro still works great,
It does not have enough power for the wet sloppy snow we are currently getting and clogs up alot (still better than a shovel).
If I reorderd I would go with the gas model.
