Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025 Best Quality

This is a great little thrower. Based on the local snowfall this year around here this thing has been worth its weight in gold. Before My nieghbors can get thiers started i'm done. The cord sucks but you use the over the shoulder loop trick and it stays outta the way. Don't expect to move snowbanks. This is perfect for small business and elderly people alike. I've only gotten to use it once this winter and it really worked well. The snow wasn't deep. Only problem I had was that the chute on the end will let the snow spray straight up in the air and of course since there was some wind I got covered in snow as well. Not a real big problem since it takes such little time to clean the driveway. It even blew leaves around and kind of mulched them as well. I don't know if the chute end can be tightened further or not but I think if it did spray more downwards the chute would get clogged so perhaps that is why it sprays upwards. Much easier to shake my clothes off than to bend over and shovel all the snow myself. My posture isn't perfect so this does rally help!Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Not worth it. Broke twice the first two times I used it. First the belt broke and then the belt and the pulley. Had to take it to a Toro dealer to get fixed but it still does not do a good job and is useless even in only a few inches of snow. It is very flimsy and not well made. I expected more from Toro.Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

Spokane experienced 70 plus inches of snowfall in 30 days. This snowblower kept up with it all. Sometimes we had 18 inches in 1 snowfall. I was very, very impressed with this lightweight blower. So were my neighbors who borrowed it. Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

This product is receiving a "3" because I read many good reviews, but my product had a problem with the shute lever. It wouldn't engage properly to turn the shute from side to side. The lever also seemed flimsy, so I did not ask for an exchange. Get more detail about Toro 1800 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Curve Snow Thrower #38025.

We got this late Spring last year in preparation for this years' winter. As far as performance, it does exactly what its supposed to do, throw snow. I actually appreciate the fact that even though I have to wrestle with the electric cord (made specifically for cold temps) its still a heck of a lot better than dealing with oil/gas mixing, the pulling and the breathing in the smoke like I do with lawn mower. This thing throws snow like no other and I do love it. I'll admit that you have to figure out how to run it without running over the electric cord but that'll come with time so far I havent ran over mine. Now my biggest frustration was the chute - it wouldnt stay in place so the first time I tried to use it I ended up throwing some snow over to my neighbors driveway since there's only a small amount of space between his driveway and mine - that was not cool. In order to adjust it, I had to buy new bolts and a locking nut so the bolts wont move and readjust the chute. After that, I never had any more problems with the chute or the overall operation of the thrower. I have a two car driveway and this does a great job. One thing I did notice, if you have uneven areas on your driveway, you will know about it when you run the thrower over it.
